Monthly Meeting

This meeting will be on Monday, November 20, 2023, @ 1pm.  It will be held at the JCDP Smithfield office on 1302 W. Market Street.

Ombudsman Carolyn Pennington of the Central Pines Regional Council of the Area Agency on Aging of the Triangle J Council of Governments will be our guest speaker.

Area Agency on Aging - Triangle J Council of Governments, is a public, nonprofit agency designated by the State to address the needs and concerns of older adults (60+ and their caregivers) in the seven county region (Chatham, Durham, Johnston, Lee, Moore, Orange and Wake). Triangle J Area Agency on Aging Ombudsman Program advocates for residents living in long-term care facilities, providing free and confidential services. It also investigates complaints made by or on behalf of nursing and adult care home residents. The Goal is to enhance both quality of care and quality of life.
