Monthly Meeting

This meeting will be on Monday, July 15th, 2024, @ 1pm.  It will be held at the JCDP Smithfield office on 1302 W. Market Street.

SPECIAL GUEST: We will have Julia Buckner of Friends of Public Schools. Julia, the former NCDP Organizing & Training Director and former Mecklenburg Co Democratic Party Executive Director, will provide an in-depth look at NC’s timeline of public school privatization. We will learn more about how vouchers affect us right here in Johnston Co. We came out of the short session without an extension of the opportunity scholarship program but our work isn’t completed. Please come out on the 15th!
