42nd Annual NC Senior Democrats State Convention
Dear Senior Democrat!
This is your Call to Convention 2020! The Senior Democrats of North Carolina, an auxiliary of the NCDP, are delighted to invite you to our free, virtual 42nd Annual Convention on July 25, 2020 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
We will present a thoughtful, smooth, virtual convention to accommodate everyone’s safety and accessibility, with phone and/or computer access! There will be nine focused sessions, devoting most of the time to relevant Senior Democrat issues of our health, safety during pandemic, voter education, meeting our 2020 Candidates, absentee ballot requirements, and a solid hour to our annual business meeting.
Seniors are the base of the Democratic Party, and we know Candidates need our Vote, and our Volunteerism. Seniors are mentioned 16 times in the NCDP 2020 platform. We are not asking you for a convention fee, a brochure advertisement or contribution (well maybe a small one). We are asking you to participate in something even more important, Voter Education.
The Executive Committee of the NC Senior Democrats, including our 26 Chapter Chairs are extending an invitation to you join us on July 25, 2020 from 9:30 am to 2:00 p.m. Seniors really need North Carolina to win back our Legislature, our local Government, the US Senate, the Presidency and US House of Representatives in 2020. We’ll be prepped and ready for #100DaysOut from Election Day,
